Activate a boast ability only if that creature attacked this turn and only once each turn.

A creature may boast after it is declared as an attacker, even later in the turn after combat has ended.

Example: A creature may boast after it is declared as an attacker, even later in the turn after combat has ended.

Rules and interactions

  • The creature does not need to still be attacking when you activate its boast ability.
  • Each permanent’s boast ability can be activated only once per turn, even if it leaves and returns as the same card represented by a new object.
  • Gaining a boast ability after attacking still lets that creature use it during the same turn.
