Yes โ Scrytics is free to download on the App Store. The full Magic: The Gathering card catalog, scanner, collection tracker and deck builder are available without an account. A one-time Pro upgrade unlocks unlimited daily scans and advanced collection analytics.
How accurate is the MTG card scanner?
Scrytics identifies any Magic: The Gathering card in under a second. The on-device ML model is trained on 100,000+ printings and handles foils, sleeves, dim lighting, and angled photographs. Continuous scan mode sorts stacks of hundreds in a single session.
Does Scrytics work offline?
Yes. After the initial card catalog downloads on first launch, the scanner, search, prices and deck builder all work without an internet connection. Useful at LGS tournaments, GP halls and draft tables with patchy signal.
Which iPhones and iPads are supported?
Scrytics runs on any iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later. The scanner is GPU-accelerated and optimised for Apple silicon โ recognition is sub-second on iPhone 12 and newer.
Where do the prices come from?
Live market data from Scryfall (USD), CardMarket (EUR) and TCGPlayer (US specialised). Every card carries 365 days of daily price history tracked separately per finish โ non-foil, foil and etched have their own curves.
Can I export my collection?
Yes. Export any binder or your entire collection to CSV, Deckbox, Moxfield or plain text. Decks export to MTGGoldfish, Moxfield, Arena and Magic Online formats. Imports of the same formats work on first launch โ switching from another tracker takes seconds.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Scrytics is account-free. Your collection lives on your device and is optionally synced through iCloud if you enable it in iOS Settings. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
