Scrytics indexes card names, type lines, oracle text and flavor text in every language Magic is currently printed in: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
Pick a primary language in the settings. The app's chrome (menus, buttons, page titles) follows suit, and every card you open shows up in that language when it has been printed in it. If it hasn't — rare, mostly older promos and Secret Lairs — Scrytics falls back to the next-best language automatically.
The scanner recognises foreign printings and maps them back to the canonical oracle card. Japanese alternate-art cards, German core-set printings and Korean Mystery Boosters are all first-class citizens.
Foreign-language prices are tracked where available — Japanese printings have their own CardMarket average, and Scrytics shows it next to the English price.
