Tarkir: Dragonstorm Tokens — Complete MTG Token Checklist

Tarkir: Dragonstorm has 16 numbered token faces in its main token subset, from a colorless Copy token through the five-color Reliquary Dragon. The set needs several versions of the same creature type because endure can create white Spirit tokens at different power and toughness values, while mobilize makes temporary red Warrior tokens.

This checklist uses the TTDM token subset in the Scrytics card index. Wizards’ official token overview confirms that the 16 full-art tokens appear in different double-sided combinations in Play Boosters. Collector Boosters use traditional-foil double-sided tokens.

Why there are four Spirit tokens

The Abzan mechanic endure N offers a choice: put N +1/+1 counters on the creature, or create an N/N white Spirit creature token. If the creature that was supposed to endure is no longer on the battlefield when the ability resolves, the Spirit is created automatically.

That variable number is why the token sheet includes 1/1, 2/2, 3/3, and */* white Spirits. Use the numbered token that matches the endure value printed on the card. Wizards explains the choice and its resolution details in the official Tarkir: Dragonstorm mechanics guide.

Mobilize uses the red Warrior token

Mobilize N triggers when the creature attacks. It creates N tapped and attacking 1/1 red Warrior creature tokens, then sacrifices them at the beginning of the next end step.

Those Warriors enter attacking but were never declared as attackers. As a result, they do not trigger abilities that look for a creature being declared as an attacker. Removing the original creature does not stop a mobilize trigger that is already on the stack.

Tokens used by specific cards

Some entries are generic game pieces; others exist for a narrow group of cards:

• Reliquary Dragon is a named, five-color 4/4 Dragon with flying and lifelink. Its enter-the-battlefield ability deals 3 damage to any target, so a generic 4/4 Dragon token is not a safe substitute without a reminder marker.
• Copy represents whatever permanent an effect copies. Its characteristics come from the copied object rather than the printed reminder card.
• Treasure supplies the familiar mana ability and can be represented by any clearly identifiable Treasure token.
• Zombie Druid, Monk, Bird, Goblin, Soldier, and Elephant preserve creature types that may matter to other effects.

Main-set tokens versus Commander-deck tokens

The 16-card TTDM checklist is the main Tarkir: Dragonstorm token subset. The five Commander decks need additional token faces and combinations that are not all part of this numbered list. For example, the official Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander decklists enumerate deck-specific double-sided tokens for Mardu Surge, Temur Roar, Abzan Armor, Jeskai Striker, and Sultai Arisen.
